The Office for Youth and Young Adult Ministry sponsors monthly, regional evenings of Wine and Wisdom for young adults. At each Wine and Wisdom, an engaging local speaker talks about relevant issues of faith and life. Young adults have the opportunity to participate in discussions and form community in these fun settings.
Wine and Wisdom evenings are an opportunity to meet other young adults in a comfortable setting, enjoy good food and beverages, and explore a variety of faith topics. Each week a speaker presents on a theme with particular relevance to young adults, then invites discussion and questions.
Wine and Wisdom – Tacoma, Summer 2012
Thank you for taking part in our first ever Wine and Wisdom series in Tacoma during the Lent and Easter seasons! We look forward to starting up our summer series on Tuesday, June 12th. Join us for the 6:00 pm Mass at St. Frances Cabrini in Lakewood, and then from 7:00-9:00 pm for food, drink and discussion at The Ram Restaurant (Lakewood Towne Center).
**The dates for the Tacoma summer series are: June 12th, June 19th, June 26th and July 3rd.
Wine and Wisdom – Seattle, Spring 2012
In 2012, the Archdiocese will coordinate four Wine and Wisdom series in Seattle – “Relationships,” “Evangelization,” “Living Our Faith Daily,” and “Addressing the World through the Lens of Our Catholic Faith” – hosted during the winter, spring, summer and fall seasons, respectively. Each series will consist of 4-6 consecutive weeks, with topics related to season’s theme.
The spring 2012 series, “The New Evangelization,” will kick-off on Wednesday, April 11th, and continue for five weeks every Wednesday evening from 7:15 – 9:00 p.m. at Kells Irish Restaurant and Pub in Post Alley at Pike Place.
Please join us before the discussion each week for the 6:30 p.m. daily mass at Christ Our Hope Church downtown, on the corner of Stewart and 2nd.
