Leadership Development
OYYAM sponsors several leadership development camps over the year, so be on the look out for upcoming events. There are also opportunities for youth group programs and schools to use our challenge course facilities and hire a staff facilitator.
Ascend High School Leadership Camp
Ascend is designed for youth entering grades 9 -12. This five-day, four-night leadership camp will take place at Camp Don Bosco in Carnation, WA and helps younger leaders identify and strengthen the gifts needed for servant leadership in Catholic parishes and schools.
Camp 4:12 Junior High Leadership Experience
Camp 4:12 is a three-day, two-night leadership experience for those entering grades 7-9 in parishes around the Archdiocese.
ACCY (A unique ACCY Page is coming; check back soon!)
The Archdiocesan Council of Catholic Youth is coming back in the fall of 2012! ACCY members will play key roles in Archdiocesan events like Youth Convention and Youth Rally, and will act as advisors to the OYYAM Office. Most importantly, they will be challenged to take what they’ve received back to their parishes, building up the Body of Christ in their midst. Download the 2012 Application here!
