What is Strong Catholic Families?
Strong Catholic Families is an initiative developed by NFCYM to help parishes better support parents as the primary catechists of their parents. In the Archdiocese of Seattle, this is being co-sponsored by the Offices of: Youth and Young Adult Ministry, Catholic Faith Formation, Catholic Schools Department and the Vicar of Clergy.
The purpose is to equip parishes with the tools necessary to successfully administer the program to their own parish.
When and Where will it be held
The initial train the trainer will be held at St. Monica’s Parish on Mercer Island May 25th and 26th
What does my parish get in this training?
You will be a trained faciliator at the end of the training. You can then take this program and run it in your parish or sign up to be a faciliator in other parishes as well.
